M. Yourick is an artist, educator, designer, maker, writer, and photographer based in NW Florida. Visual communication is her life. 

As an artist, she works with a variety of media including photography, textiles, ceramics, installation, drawing, and video. Her love for the artistic process, from idea generation to the rhythmic tedium of making, fuels her diverse materials interests. She is currently swooning over light and chasing its magic through photography. M is currently artist in residence at Gulf Coast State College.

She has taught studio art and English-as-a-second-language in a medley of places, from public libraries to back porches to state universities. M is currently teaching contemporary art at Florida State University Panama City, art history and photography at Gulf Coast State College, and drawing and craft design at Chipola State College.
